MHFA Adult Mental Health Aware Half Day Workshop 

MHFA Adult Mental Health Aware half day workshop is an introductory four hour session to raise awareness of mental health. 
It is designed to give you: 
An understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma 
A basic knowledge of common mental health issues and factors that can affect mental health 
An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining mental wellbeing 
Spotting signs of distress 
Build confidence to open the conversation relating to mental health 
The confidence to support a person who is in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue 
Supporting good mental health in the workplace 
The workshop is delivered by a mental health professional with a proven record working within the specialist field. 
As with all our mental health workshops it is delivered through a mixture of informative slides, videos, interactive activities and group discussion. 
Due to the content on this course being highly emotive some delegates may find it distressing and are therefore free to leave the room at anytime. By using Mindmaps Wellbeing you are in safe hands with the knowledge you have got a trained mental health professional delivering the training. 
All delegates will receive an MHFA Adult Half Day Manual, Workbook and Certificate of attendance upon completion of the course. 
Our half-day awareness workshop is priced from £70pp to £100. - Charities / CIC / Students / Those in receipt of benefits such as working tax credits, carers allowance, universal credit, income support or part of the YOUR Partnership membership all receive a reduced fees as we have secured some funding to assist with this.
